Multi-Function RVP Sampling System

Overview

The Multi-Function RVP Sampling System is specially designed for collecting gasoline samples from storage tanks onshore or aboard marine vessels.
This system allows smooth transfer of fuel samples into approved sampling containers without any loss of vapor pressure, ensuring accurate Reid Vapor Pressure (RVP) analysis and compliance with ASTM and EPA standards.

The system features a spring-loaded bottom valve and a precision-engineered RVP Trip Funnel that fit perfectly together, enabling safe and efficient closed transfer of volatile fuel samples.

How It Works

Operators can select the appropriate sampling configuration by choosing from the interchangeable tops and bottoms included in the kit:

  • Running Sample (Composite Sampling): use the Adjustable Top

  • Zone Sample (Spot Sampling): use the Zone Bottom

The RVP Trip Funnel opens the spring-loaded valve at the sampler’s bottom, allowing the fuel sample to flow through the extension nozzle into the bottom of the receiving container.
This bottom-up filling method maintains vapor pressure integrity throughout the transfer process.

Hệ thống lấy mẫu RVP đa chức năng được thiết kế chuyên dụng để thu thập mẫu xăng dầu từ bồn chứa trên bờ hoặc trên tàu biển, giúp chuyển mẫu sang bình chứa mà không làm mất áp suất hơi (Vapor Pressure).
Thiết bị đảm bảo độ chính xác cao trong quá trình kiểm tra áp suất hơi Reid (Reid Vapor Pressure – RVP), đáp ứng tiêu chuẩn ASTM và EPA cho các phép thử xăng dầu.

Hệ thống bao gồm van đáy lò xo đặc biệt và phễu RVP Trip Funnel được thiết kế chính xác để ghép khớp hoàn toàn, cho phép truyền mẫu xăng an toàn và hiệu quả trong môi trường kín.

Nguyên lý hoạt động

Người vận hành có thể lựa chọn kiểu lấy mẫu phù hợp bằng cách thay đổi nắp và đáy trong bộ dụng cụ:

  • Lấy mẫu đang chảy (Running / Composite Sampling): sử dụng nắp điều chỉnh (Adjustable Top)

  • Lấy mẫu theo tầng (Zone Sampling): sử dụng đáy Zone (Zone Bottom)

Phễu RVP Trip Funnel giúp mở van đáy lò xo của thiết bị lấy mẫu RVP, cho phép rót mẫu qua vòi mở rộng xuống đáy bình chứa, giúp làm đầy bình từ dưới lên trên mà không làm thay đổi hoặc mất áp suất hơi của mẫu xăng.
